He champions a wide repertoire with particular areas of interest: Beethoven, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Schubert and Schumann; the solo and chamber music of Gabriel Faur\u00e9, Bart\u00f3k and Jan\u00e1\u00e7ek; concertos of Bach, Bart\u00f3k, Britten, Faur\u00e9, Hindemith, Messiaen and Mozart; and contemporary works, including the piano quintet of Thomas Ad\u00e8s, George Benjamin\u2019s\u00a0Piano Figures\u00a0and\u00a0Shadowlines,\u00a0and Harrison Birtwistle\u2019s\u00a0Harrison\u2019s Clocks.   Recent recordings include a solo piano recital\u00a0Aus Wien\u00a0on Pentatone, featuring music of Schumann, Schoenberg, Ravel, Korngold and Schubert, and Beethoven and Schubert works for violin and fortepiano with Viktoria Mullova on Signum.
